Do I have to touch my phone while driving?
No. Tap Start before you pull away. While you drive the screen shows one calm color and never asks for a tap. Hold to end when you arrive, or let the drive end automatically after you park.
Does it need my location?
No. Comfort is measured with the accelerometer and gyroscope, in any phone orientation. Location is optional and adds the route, the parking pin and speed.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your phone. There is no account and no GentleDrive server. Maps use OpenFreeMap, which only receives the map tiles you view.
How is Pro priced?
Pro is a one-time lifetime unlock (US$4.99; local prices are set by the store). There is no subscription and nothing renews. Pro also removes ads.
Is GentleDrive a medical app?
No. GentleDrive is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If car sickness is frequent or severe, talk to your pediatrician.
